Back from a summer break, the At Home in Bloomington crew is HUNGRY! So we invited a guest who could help us with that and boy, did they ever! Businesses that are grown by demand always fascinate us- there’s usually a great story behind them! Join us as we talk (and snack) with Megan Dillman, Marketing Director for Dillman Farm, a family owned and operated business in Bloomington since 1970. Founder Carl Dillman started making Apple Butter in his garage almost 50 years ago. Neither fire nor tornadoes could stop their growth, which today, finds Dillman Farm making over 125 different varieties of all-natural, kosher, vegan and gluten free foods.
Their commitment to quality, perseverance and willingness to take a leap of faith makes us proud to share their story with the world! Hear how Dillman Farm’s ‘Spicy Chipotle Mustard’ cured Karan of her phobia of mustard and gave us lots of ideas about marinades, salad dressings and more!
We also throw back to one of our past shows, May’s Greenhouse, who sells Dillman Farm products and shares with Dillman Farm the superpower of being able to bounce back after a natural disaster or two. And in our REAL-List segment, Deb tells us the top three things you need to know to be a successful buyer in a seller’s market.
