Deb Tomaro REAL Real Estate Today - At Home in Bloomington - Episode 7 Gather and Handmade Market - Talia

Just about 10 years ago, Talia Halliday created Conduit Press out of the dining room of her home while her newborn baby slept in a ring sling attached to her hip. Since then she’s grown Conduit Press into a multi-faceted arts business that sells handmade bespoke leather journals and leather bags to shops and boutiques across the globe. In that same time frame, Talia found her strength in her handmade community and became an organizer behind the Bloomington Handmade Market – a DIY fueled, indie craft show featuring handmade and contemporary arts and crafts that celebrates TEN years this holiday season! Being the multi-tasker that she is, and never being able to sit idle for a minute, Talia also has grown Gather – a handmade brick and mortar shop representing many of the same artists from the Market (and her own work from Conduit Press) into a downtown retail institution in Bloomington; a wonderful one of a kind place to find all the gifts and special items you might need in your life. What’s next for Talia – who knows, but we can bet she has something up her sleeve.
